This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house is right on the pinhook of the St Joe River, just across the border into Elkhart. It looks out on the river, and a protected natural spring with tons of wildlife. I love living... here, as it is far enough from campus that I feel like I can recharge and reset but still easy enough to get to work. Campus is a straight shot down Jefferson, McKinley, or Douglas, 30 minutes door to door.

Comfy living room, with a fireplace and big picture window to see the river. Kitchen is not huge, but very manageable with a group of people. There (not pictured) a 2 car garage, a laundry room, 2 bathrooms, a mudroom/storage room that could also be an office, and a secondary garage that used to be a room for music parties for the former owner.

Great neighborhood with easy going neighbors. I have 2 kayaks for use, and my next door neighbor has given us an open invitation to use his pool. The yard is kept up beautifully by the landlords, who live 3 doors down.


I am the director of the ND Ceili Band, and run Irish music programs in South Bend. I am fairly social, and like to have folks over from time to time to play music on the weekends. During the week I tend to work later hours, and usually watch tv and crash when I get home.
