Parking & Praying

Parking On-Campus

Parking when living off-campus is basically the same drill as when you live on-campus. The same rules and regulations, permit filings, etc., still apply. For those new to the process, in order to receive a parking permit you must fill out an application at the Notre Dame Security Police office in Hammes-Mowbray Hall and pay a fee for the parking pass.

For off-campus students, the primary lots for parking are the C1 lots south of the Joyce Center. However, off-campus students that have a C parking decal may also park in the D lots.

For more information on the rules and regulations for parking, please visit the NDSP website.

For the official NDSP parking map with all of the lots and official rules on decals and everything, you can download the pamphlet.

Praying Off-Campus

As part of the Notre Dame family, you are always welcome to attend Mass in your former residence hall—or any other Notre Dame Masses (and they are constantly happening). However, should you prefer to worship off-campus, you can find a listing of the churches and Mass times in the area.

For people of other faith denominations or traditions, Campus Ministry puts together a helpful list of services for Christian non-denominational, Jewish, and Muslim services.
